Ferdinand said he had been robbed the year before which made him want to avoid going through it again. Therefore when one of a group of men outside Faces Nightclub threatened to kill his friend he threw the first punch. Ferdinand said:<BR/>"For all I knew he had a knife. The jury were told today that Ferdinand led an unprovoked attack against Emile Walker.
