Transfer Deadline Day Latest

0034: ENORMOUS BREAKING TRANSFER NEWS
The Spurs website says they have agreed to sell Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United for £30.75m, with Fraizer Campbell going to Spurs on a season-long loan. Did you get all that?
As part of the deal, Spurs have agreed not to pursue their complaint to the Premier League over Manchester United's pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov. Great day for Fergie then, unsurprisingly.

0005: TRANSFER CONFIRMED AND MY GOD IT'S A CRACKER

Robinho, the 24-year-old Brazilian, has left Real Madrid and signed for Manchester City. That is officially the biggest deadline day deal in history. Probably.
Just a quick reminder that Robinho's first game in a Manchester City shirt (sorry, but that sounds wrong) will be against Chelsea at Eastlands on Saturday, 13 September at 1730 BST. Now that should be lively.

2312:
George McCartney has told the West Ham website he handed in a transfer request because his wife Elaine didn't settle in the south-east. And I thought it was Sunderland boss Roy Keane who hammered players for deciding to go where their wives wanted?

2309: TRANSFER COMPLETED
Sunderland
wrap up the signing of their former left-back George McCartney from West Ham for an undisclosed fee.

The "wife trick"... please Linda, give me a break!
How on earth did you/the board make you change your mind so soon after agreeing a new 5-year deal?
Were you really the only player on the squad that would consider leaving and that also would bring in some money?
