Celtic FC v Rapid Vienna 1-1

It was going to be the result I had predicted.

Rapid grabbed the lead in the 3th minute (Jelavic, assist Hofmann), but Celtic scored the equaliser after a careless Andy Dober backpass that Ragnvald Soma was unable to handle. Scott MacDonald raced into the Rapid area and beat Helge Payer from a tight angle.

BBC, Jonathan Stevenson: "Not the result they wanted at Celtic Park, either for what happened 25 years ago or for their current European campaign. But a share of the spoils probably is what the Austrians deserve."
