The Sunday Express says the club's new owners CB Holdings – the CB stands for ‘Claret and Blue’ – have promised West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola up to £20m to strengthen a squad which just missed out on a place in Europe last season.
According to the Sunday Express the new owners are also considering reopening talks about moving into London’s Olympic Stadium after the Games finish in 2012.
